The old classic, these really were ahead of their time. Having been around a while now other makes have caught up, but the Anasazi remains one of the best performance lace ups for multi purpose use. A light uncluttered shoe with a slim fit, the lightweight synthetic fabric has proved tough enough to last a couple of resoles. A very precise feeling shoe which holds edges very well. It still manages to smear well too, although not it’s best attribute. They have none of the fancy new rubber over the toes or grips on the heels, so others might be better for specific bouldering moves. Talking of the heel – it is baggy, but you let it off as the rest of the shoe is just so good. A proven performer that will do you well, particularly if you don’t feel the need for extra features.
